The wind was still howling all morning, but we waited until ner low tide to go out. Shem went out with his 4m kite and I rigged my 5m sail and wave board. One guy was already out on a 5m as well, and Chris was just rigging up his 9m kite.

When the wind blew the 5m was perfect and led to some nice big controlled jumps on both tacks, but every now and then the wind dropped off and I sunk. Shem couldn't really get going enough with his 4m, but Chris was going well with his 9m kite.

After an hour or so the lulls became more constant and I couldn't be bothered to rig a bigger sail. I also had a big hole in my wetsuit (in the knee) so had one cold leg!! It would have been nice to have gone back out with some bigger kit, but I headed home instead.
